The GAUTENG SOUTH CHESS ASSOCIATION
is a Chess Union affiliated to Chess South Africa (CHESSA) which is the
representative chess body controlled by FIDE and the controlling body for chess
in South Africa.
The JOHANNESBURG CHESS CLUB is one
of the oldest chess clubs in South Africa and is the Chess Club of
GAUTENG SOUTH CHESS ASSOCIATION. It meets at
Houghton Primary School on Tuesday evenings at 19h30 for regular chess and
coaching for individuals and squads.
The
GAUTENG SOUTH SCHOOL'S CHESS CLUB operates as the training vehicle for chess playing schools
in the region administered by
GAUTENG SOUTH
CHESS ASSOCIATION.
